A CLOSER LOOK
Justin Sight is a professional magician, speaker, and filmmaker.
At age 6, Justin's vision began to decline. 4 years later, he was diagnosed with Stargardt's Macular Dystrophy, a rare form of juvenile macular degeneration and is thus considered legally blind. Ironically It was around this time that his healthy obsession with the very visual art of illusion came into focus.
After many personal struggles in his teens and early adult years, Justin sought a greater sense of independence and began making regular trips into New York City. After weeks of deliberation and hesitation, he finally laid down a baseball cap and began performing in the city's bustling subway stations and parks. The reception was overwhelmingly positive and he quickly gained local, national and even international attention through various news outlets and major publications like The Atlantic and Slate.
Today, Justin performs at gatherings ranging from intimate celebrations to massive fortune 100 corporate events. His work often plays with mind-boggling scientific and metaphysical concepts in a fun, engaging and humorous way.
